IU Kokomo enters the week on the backs of a loss to a solid Point Park team, after running through Carlow earlier in the week. The Cougars are currently 16-6 overall and 10-2 in River States Conference play.
Seniors
Hunter White and
Xavier Hines have led the team as of late. Hines scored 18 against Carlow and had 14 points in the loss to Point Park.
Hunter White is averaging 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists so far this season.
IU East is currently 10-12 overall and .500 in conference play with a record of 6-6. Last time out, the Red Wolves fell to RV Rio Grande by 19 on the road. The Red Wolves are led by Colt Meyer and Jake Johnson, as both are averaging 17 points per game.
The Cougars and Red Wolves met in Kokomo back in November, with IUK winning 84-77. IU Kokomo is 4-12 all-time against IU East, but the Cougars have won the last three games between the two programs.
The Pomeroys of SMWC come into the week after earning their first home win of the season Saturday against Carlow. SMWC is 7-14 overall and 2-10 in RSC play. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is led by Keith Germain and Tarik Dixon, who are both averaging 13 points per game.
The Cougars and Pomeroys played at SMWC back on January 14th, and the Cougars took home an 18-point victory. IU Kokomo has never lost to SMWC, with an all-time record of 3-0 against the Pomeroys.
