DANIELS, WV. - It was consistent play all day from top to bottom that led to the Cougars first round 306 at the RSC Championships hosted by Glade Springs resort. A trio of 76's along with a 78 has IU Kokomo tied first in the 54 hole championship.
IU Kokomo is tied with West Virginia Tech, both shooting identical scores of 306 with IU East one shot back in third place. Today's round was the opening of three rounds to declare an automatic bid for the NAIA National Championship.
Drew Wagner,
Corbin Robison, and
Hayden Williamson all three carded opening round 76's (+4), sitting T-5 heading into Monday morning's second round.
Freshman
Ryan Jones delivered IU Kokomo's fourth and final counting score in Sunday's first round, firing a 78 (+6) to T-13.
Daniel Kasten turned in a 79 (+7).
