BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - & UPLAND, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo men's indoor track and field team competed in a pair of meets over the weekend, first at Olivet Nazarene on Friday before competing at Taylor (Ind.) Saturday.
Sophomore thrower
Sydney Duncan continued her run of dominance over the weekend, winning Shot Put and finishing fourth in Weight Throw at Taylor. Her mark of 15.64 meters in Shot Put won her the event by 3.15 meters, while her mark of 16.41 meters in Weight Throw is a new school record.
Senior
Hannah Wells set a new school record in the 1K, finishing third with a time of 3:10.98. Hannah also finished second in the 600 meters Friday at ONU, crossing the line in a time of 1:47.44. That time is good for second all-time in program history.
The women's Distance Medley Relay team of Wells,
Leslie Sprankles,
Leah Highley, and
Keeley Carpenter, finished second in a time of 13:28.51, good for third all-time in program record books.
Distance runner and classmate
Isabelle Altic delivered the third best 5000 meter time in program history, finishing in a time of 19:57.49.

The Cougars will return to action next weekend, as they will compete at Olivet Nazarene again on Friday before competing at Indiana Wesleyan Saturday.
