KOKOMO, Ind. - The 15th-ranked Cougars kicked off postseason play with a dominant straight-set victory over WVU Tech, advancing to Friday night's semifinals and securing home-court advantage for the rest of the River States Conference Championship.

THE RUNDOWN
- Leading by just two at 10-8, IU Kokomo caught fire, winning nine of the next 10 points to build a commanding 19-9 advantage before closing out the first set 25-10.
- IU Kokomo carried the momentum into set two, racing out to an 11-4 lead before cruising to a 25-14 win and a 2-0 advantage.
- WVU Tech showed some fight and held an early lead in the third set, but IU Kokomo pulled ahead 12-8 midway through. The Cougars controlled the latter half of the frame, closing it out 25-15 to complete the sweep.
