KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo women's basketball team closed out 2025 on a high note Tuesday evening, securing a hard-fought home victory over Cleary University at the Student Activities & Event Center.

THE RUNDOWN
- Cameryn Rector opened the scoring for the Cougars, giving IU Kokomo an early 2-0 advantage. The opening quarter featured back-and-forth action, with the teams knotted at 14-14 after one.
- IU Kokomo found its rhythm in the second quarter, using efficient shooting to build momentum and take a six point lead into halftime.
- Cleary responded in the third, limiting the Cougars to just six points in the frame and tying the game heading into the final quarter.
