BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - & MARION, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo Women's Indoor Track and Field team competed in a pair of meets once again over the weekend, first at Olivet Nazarene on Friday before competing at Indiana Wesleyan Saturday.
Walter Cramer Invitational - Olivet Nazarene
Senior student-athlete Madison Dotlich competed in the 3,000 Meter Racewalk Friday at Olivet Nazarene, where she won the event with a time of 17:19.82. Having already punched her ticket to the NAIA Indoor National Championships, Dotlich improved her national seeding to eighth in the nation with her mark.
The 4x800 relay team of
Alysha Crouch,
Hannah Wells,
Keeley Carpenter, and
Rachel Eby also made the trip to Bourbonnais, finishing third in a time of 10:44.34. That time is good for second best in program history.

Sydney Duncan enjoyed yet another tremendous weekend, as she clinched a berth to the NAIA Indoor National Championships in Weight Throw while winning the Shot Put.
Duncan delivered a "B" standard mark of 16.64 meters in Weight Throw, placing her second of 36 competitors and giving her a new school record. Currently seeded first in the nation in Shot Put, Sydney won the event Saturday at IWU with an "A" standard throw of 15.71 meters.

Hannah Wells improved to second all-time in program history in the mile, winning the event with a time of 5:20.06.
Lily Greene continued the strong start to her freshman campaign, setting a new school record in high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters.
The 4x400 team consisting of
Jaydi Jones,
Leah Highley,
Leslie Sprankles, and
Paige Brooks now sits second all-time in the program record books, finishing third with a time of 4:20.11. Jones also is second all-time in the 60 meters, having finished 16th with a time of 8.38 seconds.
A pair of Cougar student-athletes turned in strong performances in the 5k, as
Isabelle Altic and
Alysha Crouch finished 14th and 20th respectively. Altic finished in a time of 19:22.43, good for fourth best in program history, while Crouch ran a 20:17.70 to sit fifth all-time and take over the top spot in the event for an IUK freshman.
The Cougars will return to action this weekend, as they will compete at the Indiana State Fairgounds Saturday for the Fairgrounds Invitational.
