MARION, Ind. - Two school records fell over the weekend as the IU Kokomo Women's Outdoor Track and Field team finished 11th at the 120th Annual Indiana Little State Championships.
IU Kokomo finished 11th with 31 points, four-points shy of River States Conference foe Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 10th. The host Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan took home the team title, finishing nine points clear of second place Taylor.
Paige Brooks excelled in the 400 meters, finishing with a new personal best and school record time of 1:01.85. The second school record to fall on the weekend came at the hands of the 4x100 meter relay team made up of Brooks, Alicia Burns,
Jaydi Jones, and
Mia Castillo, as they finished in a time of 52.15.
Jaydi Jones was also successful in a pair of individual running events, moving to second all-time in program history in the 400 meters and fifth-best in the 100 meters.
Freshman
Lily Greene continued her impressive freshman campaign, moving up the program record books to second in Triple Jump with a mark of 9.39 meters.
Senior distance runner
Isabelle Altic improved to fourth all-time in the 5k with a time of 19:16.75, while
Jada Henson jumped to fifth all-time in Hammer Throw with a toss of 30.94 meters.

The Cougars will return to action this Friday and Saturday in Michigan as they compete in the Grand Valley State Al Owens Classic.
