THE RUNDOWN - 4-3 Win vs Saint Francis (Ind.)

• The Cougars of Saint Francis took the doubles point to open the match and added the No. 1 singles point, but IU Kokomo was unfazed.
• Chloe Schmidt handled business at No. 2 singles, while Kennedy Perrin cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 to even the match at 2-2.
• Bre Koester dropped a long three-setter at No. 4 singles, but Molly Farkas and Kennedy Horner combined to drop just three games combined, lifting IU Kokomo to a 4-3 win over in-state foe Saint Francis (Ind.).

THE RUNDOWN - 7-0 Win vs Shawnee State

• The Cougars hosted Shawnee State University Friday for their River States Conference opener, dominating the Bears from start to finish to begin RSC play 1-0.
• After a first set bagel, Ava Allen claimed the second set 6-4 at No. 1 singles, while Chloe Schmidt followed with a straight set victory at No. 2.
• Kennedy Horner outlasted her opponent in a lengthy three set match, earning a 7-6 (5), 4-6, 10-6 victory at No. 3 singles.
• Bre Koester bounced back from Thursday's loss with a hard-fought 7-5, 6-3 win for the Cougars.
• Just as they did Thursday, Molly Farkas and Kennedy Horner rolled to wins again, dropping just one game combined to cap a dominant effort.

THE RUNDOWN - 6-1 loss at Saint Mary's College (Ind.)

• The Belles of Saint Mary's College dropped just two games en route to claiming the doubles point Saturday night on the campus of Notre Dame.
• At No. 1 singles, Ava Allen put up a strong fight but ultimately dropped the match 6-7, 4-6.
• SMC cruised to wins at at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, having already won the No.6 singles match via walkover.
• Kennedy Horner earned IU Kokomo's lone point of the match, outlasting her opponent 6-3, 2-6, 13-11 at No. 5 singles for her third singles win of the weekend.
