KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU Kokomo women's tennis team will take on three in-state opponents in their second to last week of competition this fall. The Cougars are coming off of a weekend spent playing River States Conference foes at the RSC Invite.

The Cougars of IU Kokomo are coming off of a solid showing at last weekend's River States Conference Invite. IU Kokomo's Maria Oliveira won the #4 singles flight while teammate Andrea Saylor won the #6 singles flight.

IU Kokomo enters the week of matches with a fall record of 0-3, but there last two dual-matches were tight. Both resulted in 4-3 losses to stout Bethel University and Grace College teams.

The Trine Thunder come into Tuesday's match with the Cougs with a fall record of 3-0. The Thunder have wins over Manchester University, Franklin College, and Webster University. IU Kokomo is 1-3 all-time against Trine.

Indiana Tech enters this week with a record of 1-1. The Warriors beat Goshen College 7-0 and lost to #6 ranked Indiana Wesleyan 6-0. IU Kokomo is 1-1 all-time against Indiana Tech. The Warriors were ranked #17 in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll last spring.

Goshen comes into the week with record of 3-7 so far this fall. In terms of common opponents with IUK, the Maple Leafs lost to Spring Arbor 6-1 and Bethel 4-3, while they beat Grace 5-2. IU Kokomo is 2-0 all-time against the Maple Leafs of Goshen College.
