DANIELS, W. Va. - The IU Kokomo Women's Golf team had their 2024-2025 season come to a close Tuesday afternoon, finishing fifth at the 2025 River States Conference Championships held at Glade Springs Golf Resort.
The Cougars saved their best round of the week for Tuesday's final round, firing a 339 after rounds of 346-350 to open the 54-hole event. Midway took home the team title with a three-round total of 972, holding off second-place IU East with a total of 979.
Junior
Hailey Stegemann led IU Kokomo throughout the tournament, finishing in a tie for second with Midway's Kasey Cameron to earn All-Conference First Team honors. After firing an opening round 77, Stegemann turned in rounds of 81-81 for a three-round total of 239 (+23).Â
IU Kokomo sophomore
Chloe Crook finished in a tie for 13th, delivering consistent rounds of 84-85-87 for a three-round total of 256 (+40).
Anna Hutchings improved her score each time she teed it up in West Virginia, following up an opening round 94 with rounds of 92-86 for a three-round total of 272 (+56).
Carly Chandler and
Stefanie Dickerson closed out the IU Kokomo lineup with 25th and 26th-place finishes respectively, finishing with three-round totals of 278 (+62) and 279 (+63).
