KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo men's basketball team is set to return to River States Conference play this week after playing three non-conference games over break. The Cougars will play at Rio Grande Tuesday before hosting Ohio Christian Saturday afternoon.

IU Kokomo comes into the week on the backs of a 1-1 weekend at the Oakland City Classic. The Cougars lost to Mount Vernon Nazarene University 67-63 Thursday before bouncing back and beating Lawrence Tech 84-59 Friday. The Cougars are 11-4 overall and 5-0 in RSC play.

The Cougars have been led by seniors Hunter White and Darian Porch this season, as White is averaging 15 points per game and Porch is averaging ten points and seven rebounds per game.

Rio Grande enters Tuesday's matchup with a record of 11-4 and a 5-0 mark in RSC action. IU Kokomo and Rio Grande are the only two teams undefeated in conference play, as IUK sits atop the West division while Rio Grande leads the East. The Red Storm are 6-1 on their home floor, having lost to #14 Marian last time out by four points inside Newt Oliver Arena.

The Red Storm are led by a trio of players consisting of Shiloah Blevins, Kaden Warner, and Miki Tadic. Blevins is averaging 16 points per game while Warner and Tadic are both averaging 13.

The Trailblazers of Ohio Christian enter the week with an overall record of 5-8 and a RSC mark of 2-3. OCU is 4-4 in road matchups this season, having won last time out at Kent State Tuscarawas by 15 points. Jimmy Salamone leads OCU averaging 15 points per game while Devon Miller averages 14.

The Cougars are 4-5 all-time against Rio Grande and 6-2 all-time against Ohio Christian.
