KOKOMO, Ind. – The IU Kokomo men's basketball team will wrap up the 2023 regular season this week with a road game at Oakland City Tuesday before hosting Brescia Saturday for Senior Day.

The Cougars enter the week on the backs of a 1-1 performance last week. IUK dominated Midway Tuesday, winning by 27, before falling on the road at IU Southeast Saturday, 89-75. IU Kokomo is 19-7 overall and 13-3 in River States Conference play, while sitting atop the RSC West division standings.

Oakland City comes into the week with a record of 9-17 and a conference mark of 3-12. IU Kokomo dominated Oakland City in Kokomo back in early December, winning 100-62. The Mighty Oaks won last time out, beating Brescia 59-58, and are led by Drake Moore and Abdul Wurie.

IU Kokomo is 6-1 all-time against Oakland City, having won the last six games.

Brescia enters the final week of the regular season with an overall record of 9-11 and a conference record of 6-10. IUK beat the Bearcats on their home floor back in December, winning 85-70. Entering the week, Brescia has lost four-straight games. 

The Cougars lead the all-time series with Brescia 10-9, having won five-consecutive matchups.
