LEBANON, Ten. - The IU Kokomo women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match in Tennessee Monday, falling to Cumberland University 6-1. The Cougars are now 5-7 on the year.

IU Kokomo dropped the doubles point to fall behind 1-0 in the match, but the #3 doubles team of Chloe Schmidt and Maria Oliveira competed well, falling 5-7 in a tight set.

IUK's lone point in the 6-1 loss Monday came at #3 singles, as Reiley Hiser won an exciting match 7-5, 6-3 over Elina Sungatullina of Cumberland.

The Cougars are back on the courts Tuesday for a pair of matches. The Cougs will play Bethel (Tenn.) at 11:00 AM ET before playing Tennessee Southern at 3:00 PM ET.
