BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IU Kokomo men's indoor track and field team traveled to Bloomington Friday to compete against mainly NCAA Division I in IU's Early Bird Meet, held inside the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse.
The Cougars were led by a trio of freshmen on the big stage in Bloomington Friday, as
Mavrick Griffin,
Trevon Stoppenhagen, and
Jackson Money all impressed.
Griffin, a Madison-Grant product, tied the program record in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing 7th in a time of 9.19.
Trevon Stoppenhagen finds himself second all-time in program history in the 200 meter dash, turning in a time of 23:09 Friday.
Tipton native
Jackson Money led the Cougars in Long Jump, finishing with a jump of 6.01 meters, good for seventh in the program's record books.

The Cougars won't be back in action again until 2025, as they will compete at Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati on January 11th.
