BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -  & UPLAND, Ind. - The Indiana University Kokomo men's indoor track and field team competed in a pair of meets over the weekend, first at Olivet Nazarene on Friday before competing at Taylor (Ind.) Saturday.

Leading off the highlights from the weekend, the men's distance medley relay team of Steven Case, Jordan Henderson, Ayden Potts, and Isaiah Kanable finished second at Taylor Saturday in a time of 11:02.02. That time is good for third-fastest in program history. 

Fresh off of punching his ticket to NAIA Indoor Nationals in Shot Put last weekend, Wedmore finished second in Shot Put Saturday at Taylor. His mark of 15.76 meters gave him second handily, as Jacob Netral (Unattached) won the event with a mark of 18.25 meters. 

Fellow thrower Evan Gaylor finished two spots back of Wedmore in Shot Put, and also delivered the second best toss in the Weight Throw in program history. His best Weight Throw mark Saturday was 15.05 meters.

Senior Caleb Vogl finished third in the 5000 meter run, crossing the line in a time of 16:28.75 to sit third all-time in the program record books. Drew Lovelace finished one spot back of Vogl in fourth, delivering the sixth-best 5000 meter time in program history.

Trevon Hess finished fifth in the Triple Jump Saturday at Taylor, delivering his best jump fourth in the series of five. Hess's mark of 12.17 meters is good for third best in program history.

The Cougars will return to action next weekend, as they will compete at Olivet Nazarene again on Friday before competing at Indiana Wesleyan Saturday.
